This gorgeous piece from Casey Girl Designs is blooming with personality. Casey remarks: "It is a vintage settee reminiscent of the Art Deco period but I believe it to be from the '40s."
A simple up-cycle? Nope! The "frame needed tightening, springs re-tied, one of the decorative arm pieces to be remolded," and that was just to get it to the point she could upholster it.

We visited her shop in Weiser as she worked on the springs and frame. She hand ties these springs to the perfect tension to allow for support and comfort with individual spring movement. What does this mean for you? Your seat area won't sink or move when a special someone comes to sit along side of you.

Another professional touch? The back is tufted with matching buttons. In collaboration with a furniture restoration artist, the legs and arms have been finished with a custom green to compliment the bold blue floral perfectly. To finish this little beauty off, Casey made a perfectly sized bolster pillow in a matching punchy pink--come visit to see this in person!

We are open from 10-6 M through F and 9-6 on Saturdays. Can't make the trip during those hours? Give us a call to set up an appointment!

Refinement meets color and plays with the unexpected in Casey's talent for bringing old pieces back to life through upholstery. Her attention to detail and precision work produce flawless results that are sure to become family treasures.
